The functionality is very good. There was a small pebble that got in the seam a few years back and chipped off the bottom of the screen but it is not with in the LCD display, so it is cosmetic. The battery might be starting to show some signs of decline, but it’s not bad. I have two power adapters with this with the US plugs which can either be replaced with South African plugs, or you can just plug it in through a regular power adapter which is easy and cheap to pick up at many stores, which is what I did. I can even supply one with the laptop if you want.
